Gas Servicing and Maintenance Framework

The Partnership

To help members comply with these regulations, Consortium Procurement is working in partnership with six ontractors to deliver a fully comprehensive framework for the service and maintenance of gas heating and other appliances in wellings managed by social housing landlords.

The procurement for this framework agreement was carried out using an open procedure through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). To ensure that members were offered choice and competitive pricing the framework as split into seven operational lots. The framework was awarded to six contractors in total, with four appointed to each operational lot.

These contractors are:

• H&B Services
• PH Jones
• Planned Maintenance Engineering
• HEAT
• Sure
• Powerminster

The framework is priced on a per property basis which includes the following:

• fully inclusive annual service of all gas heating
  and other solid fuel appliances
• comprehensive day to day maintenance of
  appliances
• 24 hour, 365 days a year call out service
• changing and cleaning of extractor fan filters
• service and maintenance of smoke detectors
  and CO2 detectors

Schedules of rates for other elements of the framework are available and include:

• water analysis (inhibitor)
• solid fuel appliances
• cap off gas
• reinstate gas
• gas safety check only to tenants own appliances
