
The Northern Housing Consortium is currently inviting Members to participate in procurement panels which will be established across our membership region.
Consortium Procurement is the Northern Housing Consortiums commercial services team and Members may already be aware of the work Consortium Procurement carry out around collaborative procurement.
We are adopting a new approach to member involvement and as a result we are looking to establish regional procurement panels which will provide a network for procurement professionals within our membership and assist in the design of our collaborative procurement efforts within regional areas to maximise efficiencies.

To monitor emerging procurement and efficiency guidance
- To develop and disseminate good practice
- Identify opportunities for collective procurement between Members
- Manage the development of new Consortium procurement development plan through a network of solution area working
groups
- Promote the work of the panel through the regions
The first meeting of the Procurement panels will take place in Spring 2009 at regional venues, to be confirmed.
