Maintaining thriving neighbourhoods, managing green spaces and environmental assets are becoming key priorities for both housing providers and local government particularly in a period where localism and climate change are pressing issues for the sector.
The maintenance and cleanliness of neighbourhoods and open spaces helps to ensure that they remain sustainable and desirable places to live, and effective management of green space, the countryside, trees and hedgerows is of great importance to the environment.
The NHC has established a framework agreement for the Grounds Maintenance of Neighbourhoods and Open Spaces which aims to deliver these critical success criteria and more.
