Contract Renewal

The Northern Housing Consortium offers a third party maintenance contract for hardwired and dispersed community alarms equipment to members which is currently delivered by Cirrus Communications.   This current contract will expire in April 2009 and the renewal process is now under way.

Completion of this project will result in the Consortium forming partnerships with one or multiple maintenance providers to provide a community alarms services to members.   

The renewed solution will be arrived at through a restricted OJEU procedure that ensures UK and EU legislation and directives are adhered to, and that procurement best practice has been followed.

A renewal working group has been established, comprising of current contract users and have worked together with the Consortium to compile the tender documentation.

Concurrent with all consortium procurement working groups the members will then go onto form an evaluation panel and will assist in the appointment of partners to the framework agreement.  

A contract notice is due to be published in OJEU on Friday 8^th August and award expected by the end of 2008.   For the full project time table please contact catherine.anderson@consortiumprocurment.org.uk
